DREADFUL JACK

The bleached white bones of Jack St. Clair,
Are buried beneath the basement stair.
Encased inside a small black box,
With sixteen gold and silver locks.
So why was death his dreaded fate,
In London castle 1808.
At Pony tavern in his care,
He murdered all who ventured there.
And caught he was upon his land,
With all their blood upon his hands.
So hung till dead then chopped up twice,
He now had paid the final price.
Then bleached white bones placed in a box,
And sealed forever with sixteen locks.
Then buried beneath the basement stair,
to keep his soul forever there.
